Welcome Message
As Dean of the College of Nursing, I am pleased to invite scholars from all over the world to the first international conference on nursing and health sciences. The conference is organized by the College of Nursing in Jeddah which is affiliated to King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The conference will take place over three days from 10- 12 February 2014 and will comprise two workshops, four plenary sessions and various concurrent and poster sessions, in addition to an exhibition.
The theme of the conference titled "Clinical Teaching / Learning in Nursing and Health Sciences" highlights the importance of clinical teaching / learning in nursing and health sciences at international, regional, and national levels. This conference provides an opportunity for faculties, researchers, and clinicians in nursing, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and Allied Medical Sciences to get together to share and discuss methods of clinical teaching/ learning in order to promote excellence through the use of innovative clinical teaching / learning strategies in health care academic settings.
This coming conference will coincide with an exciting key event to celebrate the new campus of the University in Jeddah and we are particularly honored to have invited four distinguished international key note speakers who have already agreed to take part in this special event.
The special setting of the conference is the city of Jeddah, which is located on the coast of the Red Sea. It is the largest city in the western region of Saudi Arabia, and one of the most cosmopolitan and diverse cities in the Middle East.
